Contribute with Kirkland Choral Society!

Treasurer Marlene Howard watches as Music Director Glenn Gregg accepts a $1000 check from Aerojet Corporation. The check was presented by Aerojet employee & choir member, Larry Saltz (far right.)

As ticket sales make up less than half the cost of our expenses for rehearsals and concerts, KCS depends on individual donors, corporate matching funds, foundation support, corporate underwriting, and fundraising events to meet its expenses. Contributions are sought and encouraged in all areas.

Individual donations are 100% tax-deductible, and fall into the following "dynamic" categories:

ff

Fortissimo

$1000 or more

f

Forte

$500-999

mf

Mezzo-forte

$250-499

mp

Mezzo-piano

$100-249

p

Piano

$50-99

pp

Pianissimo

$10-49

Kirkland Choral Society is a non-profit organization chartered by the State
of Washington and holds 501(c)(3) federal non-profit status.  We are dedicated to sharing the joy of music with the public.  To help us reach this goal, we
rely on the generous support of our community.

Individuals may choose to support Kirkland Choral Society by:

  • auditioning and becoming choir members

  • becoming behind-the-scenes KCS volunteers

  • purchasing tickets

  • making tax-deductible donations

buying KCS compact discs and logo merchandise.  All profits from merchandise sales go directly to KCS.  (Visit www.KirklandChoralSociety.org to find out how to order.)

Corporations and businesses may show their support of the performing arts on
the Eastside by:

  • making a one-time tax-deductible donation to Kirkland Choral Society

  • becoming ongoing KCS sponsors

  • advertising in our concert programs.

Sponsors at donation levels of $1000 or more per year receive four complimentary season tickets (IRS rules apply).  They are thanked in concert programs, and are featured in the “Sponsors” section of our website.  For more information, please contact the President of our Board of Directors at president@KirklandChoralSociety.org.

Kirkland Choral Society is a proud member of the Eastside Arts Coalition and
a producing partner with Kirkland Performance Center in downtown Kirkland

Long-time chorister and KCS Social Co-chair, Jeff Tuttle adds to the fun in "passing the hat" for member donations.

In addition to being volunteers, our choir members also contribute financially to the success of our group - many far above and beyond our "suggested quarterly dues."
