On July 24, members of the Kirkland Choral Society (KCS) presented their tribute to the world of Jazz on the EAC Sound and Movement Stage at the BAM Artsfair in Bellevue, WA The BAM artsfair is the most prestigious juried fine arts and crafts event in the Northwest and the largest free community “happening” on the Eastside. |

Photo by Josie St. Peter On Sunday, January, 31, 2010, the Kirkland Choral Society joined Seattle’s First United Methodist Church choir in celebrating the consecration of the church’s new building located on 2nd and Denny in downtown Seattle. The afternoon festivities included a Cornerstone Laying, followed by a Service of Consecration over which Bishop Grant Hagiya presided. Dr. Glenn Gregg, who directs both choirs, led the 90+ voices in four songs of celebration, including Handel’s magnificent Hallelujah Chorus.
